PR6423/002-001-CN is an 8mm EPRO eddy current proximity probe for Turbine Supervisory Instrumentation (TSI) systems. The suffix -CN represents China-region cable and connector configuration. This non-contact probe is designed to measure radial shaft vibration, axial thrust displacement, shaft eccentricity and dynamic shaft position of large rotating machinery.
Manufactured under EPRO (Emerson) industrial standards and compliant with API 670 turbomachinery protection requirements, PR6423/002-001-CN delivers high linearity, stable analog gap signal. Adopting eddy current measuring principle, there is no physical contact between probe tip and metal rotor surface, avoiding mechanical wear and supporting continuous 24/7 long-term operation in power, oil & gas and petrochemical harsh industrial environments. This probe needs to pair with CON021 or CON031 signal converter (proximitor) to form a complete measurement system.
