UES815S-24AR EPRO Emerson Rack Power Supply

UES815S-24AR is the EPRO Emerson rack power supply module for MMS6000 machinery protection and condition monitoring racks, the R suffix denotes the revised / refurbished release variant, form, function and backplane pinout are fully interchangeable with UES815S-24A. It supplies clean, regulated 24VDC power to all MMS6000 monitor cards, PR9376 series keyphasor speed sensors, PR6422, PR6423, PR6424, PR6426 eddy current proximity probes, A6312 speed modules, MMS6110, MMS6210 vibration and axial position boards used on turbines, centrifugal compressors and critical rotating machinery in power, oil & gas and petrochemical industries.

It accepts wide AC input 100–240VAC, 47–63Hz and delivers low-noise 24VDC output optimized for high-resolution vibration and speed signal acquisition. Built-in multi-level protection including overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and overtemperature lockout prevents costly card damage from mains spikes and field wiring faults. Low ripple design avoids false trips on SIL-capable overspeed and vibration protection loops compliant with API 670 machinery protection standards.

This is a standard Eurocard 19-inch rack plug-in unit, hot-swappable compatible for online replacement without shutting down the whole monitoring chassis. Front panel LED indicators show power OK and fault status for fast local troubleshooting. Natural convection cooling without fans eliminates fan wear and failure risks, ideal for continuous unattended operation inside control room cabinets and local field junction boxes. Operating temperature range -20°C to +60°C, storage temperature -20°C to +85°C, IP20 front panel protection rating.

UES815S-24AR shares identical mechanical size, backplane connector definition and electrical performance with UES815S-24A; the R version is commonly seen as factory recertified, revised hardware revision or tested spare unit for rack retrofit and system maintenance projects. It cannot be substituted by generic DIN rail 24V power supplies due to dedicated backplane interface, noise filtering and safety circuit tuning for the EPRO MMS6000 platform.
