EPRO PR9268/302-000 Electrodynamic Velocity Sensor

PR9268/302-000 is an EPRO / Vibro-meter electrodynamic velocity seismic sensor designed for horizontal mounting and absolute casing vibration measurement on rotating machinery protection systems. This velocity transducer outputs a voltage signal proportional to vibration velocity, widely paired with EPRO MMS 3000 and MMS 6000 machinery monitoring and protection racks for turbomachinery condition monitoring.

Built with a robust spring-mass coil construction, PR9268/302-000 features high output and low impedance design, delivering strong anti-interference performance in industrial field environments. Its frequency response covers 4 Hz to 1000 Hz (±3dB), perfectly covering the main vibration frequency band of steam turbines, gas turbines, hydro turbines, centrifugal compressors, pumps, fans and gearboxes. The standard sensitivity is 28.5 mV/mm/s (723.9 mV/in/s) at 80 Hz, 20°C under 100 kΩ load, with amplitude linearity better than 2%. The mechanical vibration limit reaches 3000 μm peak-peak, continuous acceleration rating 10g and intermittent peak acceleration up to 20g.

The PR9268/302-000 sensor housing is made of Al Mg Si alloy with IP55 ingress protection. It supports wide humidity range from 0% to 100% non-condensing, operating temperature from -20°C to +100°C. The integrated 8-meter cable adopts PTFE insulation with stainless steel armor for abrasion and oil resistance, equipped with Harting connector for fast, reliable field wiring. This model is designated for horizontal installation, matching the vertical version PR9268/202-000 in the same product family.
