UES815S-24A EPRO Emerson Rack Power Supply Module

UES815S-24A is the EPRO Emerson rack-mount power supply module dedicated for MMS6000 machinery protection and condition monitoring systems, designed to deliver clean, regulated 24VDC power for all EPRO monitor cards, speed sensors and eddy current probes including PR9376 series keyphasor sensors, PR6422, PR6423, PR6424 and PR6425 proximity probe assemblies. This German-origin module plugs directly into the MMS6000 backplane, serving as the central power source for turbine, compressor and rotating machinery safety monitoring racks in power, oil & gas and petrochemical plants.

Built for continuous critical-duty operation, UES815S-24A accepts wide-range AC mains input 100–240VAC, 47–63Hz and converts to stabilized 24VDC output for the whole monitoring chassis. It integrates multi-layer protection circuits including overvoltage, overcurrent, short-circuit and overtemperature shutdown to prevent damage to expensive signal and monitoring boards during mains disturbance or field wiring faults. Low ripple and noise output preserves signal integrity for vibration, axial position and speed pulse measurements, avoiding false alarm trips on SIL-capable overspeed and vibration protection loops compliant with API 670.

It adopts standard 19-inch Eurocard form factor, hot-swappable compatible, allowing replacement without full system shutdown for planned maintenance. LED status indicators on the front panel show power good and fault conditions for quick on-site diagnosis. Operating temperature covers -20°C to +60°C, storage temperature -20°C to +85°C, IP20 front panel rating, natural convection cooling without fan, eliminating fan failure risks for long-term unattended service in control rooms and local field cabinets.
