1、 Relay specifications
Number of relays: 8 SPDTs, software configurable to merge into 4 DPDTs
Contact type: Form C (COM/NO/NC)
Contact rating: 250VAC, 5A resistive load, maximum 1250VA; DC 30V/5A (same as RLC16)
Configuration mode: Single SPDT independent output, or combined into DPDT for safety trip circuit

Onboard local logic engine: capable of collecting up to 86 input sources within the rack (alarms, channel faults, Danger/Alert signals from MPC4 vibration protection card, AMC8 temperature protection card, etc.)
Logical operations: AND/OR/NOT, 2oo3 two out of three voting, combinational logic, suitable for safety trip interlocking of steam turbines and compressors
Independent configuration software: IRC4 Configurator (independent tool, not MPSx main software), download logical configuration to IRC4 onboard memory
Onboard BIST built-in self-test: continuously diagnoses relay coil, power supply, and contact circuit faults, and can report system fault alarms
Backplane communication: Use rack Raw Bus (not OC Bus) to directly read the measurement status of MPC4/AMC8, without relying on OC collector open circuit bus
Key difference: RLC16 only receives OC Bus switch values, and there is no logical operation in the card; IRC4 can read a large number of protection channel signals and perform voting logic inside the card.
