HIMA F3 DIO 20/8 01 Safety-Related Controller
The F3 DIO 16/8 01 safety-related remote digital I/O module is a compact unit housed in a robust metal enclosure. It provides 16 digital inputs, 8 two-pole digital outputs, and 2 pulsed outputs, making it suitable for demanding safety applications.
Each two-pole digital output consists of two series-connected switching elements:
One switch connects to L+
One switch connects to L−
This design ensures safe and reliable disconnection in accordance with safety requirements.
The remote I/O is available in multiple model variants for SILworX and ELOP II Factory engineering environments (refer to Table 4 for details).
System Integration and Application
HIMA F3 DIO 20/8 01 Safety-Related Controller
The module is connected to individual HIMax or HIMatrix safety controllers via SafeEthernet. It is used to extend the I/O level of the safety system but does not execute any user application program independently.
