It accepts 380–480V three-phase AC input and generates the shared 530–680V DC bus to power up to four matched 1394 axis modules such as 1394-AM04, 1394-AM07 and other 1394C-AMxx servo amplifiers.

This Series C version brings upgraded features compared to older Series A and B units, including built-in EMI filter, smart soft-start power control, pluggable power termination connectors and cable strain relief clamps for better shielding and noise suppression.
