The Allen‑Bradley 1394-SJT05-C-RL is a 5kW Series C GMC integrated motion system module for Rockwell 1394 multi-axis motion control platform. It combines power supply, DC bus generation and GML motion controller into one unit, equipped with built-in Remote I/O (RIO) and AxisLink communication interfaces, which differentiates it from standard 1394-SJT05-C versions. It accepts 360–480V three-phase AC input and generates 530–680V shared DC bus to drive up to four 1394 series servo axis modules, such as 1394-AM04 and 1394-AM07.

This system module supports 4 auxiliary encoder inputs for position feedback, and the integrated RIO port enables direct communication with PLCs and remote I/O devices. AxisLink allows interconnection with other 1394 GMC racks for multi-rack synchronized motion. It runs motion programs written in GML language, supporting high-precision position, velocity and torque control for coordinated servo axes. Front panel diagnostic LEDs display power status, DC bus condition, controller faults, RIO network status and axis communication alarms, helping maintenance technicians quickly isolate power, communication or axis failures.

Continuous rated power is 4–5kW with peak power up to 28kW, 7.36A continuous output and 15A peak output. It integrates comprehensive protection functions including overvoltage, undervoltage, phase loss, overcurrent and overtemperature shutdown. Designed for 24/7 continuous cabinet operation, it handles vibration, electrical noise and normal factory temperature fluctuations, with UL and CE certifications. It can be fitted with optional fan kit 1394-FK10TS for heat dissipation in high-temperature environments.
