Smooth Upgrade Compatibility

Designed as a direct replacement for the legacy 3500/20 RIM module. During system upgrades, the recommended sequence is:
Remove RIM → Remove RIM I/O → Install TDI I/O → Install TDI,
ensuring safe installation and preventing hardware damage.
