The 3500/94 VGA Display uses a standard color VGA monitor with touch-screen technology to present data from the 3500 Machinery Protection System. The product consists of two main components:

The 3500/94 VGA module and its I/O card

The VGA display monitor

Using standard cabling, the display monitor can be installed up to 8 m (25 ft) away from the rack, allowing flexible placement in control rooms or operator panels.

The 3500/94 provides full visibility of all Machinery Protection System information, including:

System Event List

Alarm Event List

All module and channel data

3300-style rack view (API-670 compliant)

Current alarm data (quick-view screen)

Up to nine customizable display screens

All functions and pages are accessed through an intuitive touch-screen Main Menu.

Configuration of language and VGA display type is performed through the 3500 Rack Configuration Software. All other display settings are made locally at the touch-screen, allowing operators to tailor the displayed information according to site requirements.

Up to nine custom screens can be created locally. For example, one screen may display all 1X measurements, another may show all Gap readings, or screens may be grouped according to machine train arrangements. Operators can freely organize system data into user-defined sets assigned to custom display pages.

An API-670 compatible display is also available. This screen mimics the traditional 3300 rack view, showing each slot with its Direct or Gap value along with OK and Bypass LED indicators, providing a familiar interface for operators accustomed to legacy systems.
