Multi-Channel Precise Position Monitoring

This 4-channel monitoring module supports multiple types of displacement and position sensors, including proximity probes, DC differential transformers (LVDTs), rotary potentiometers, and similar devices. It can continuously track key shaft and mechanical parameters such as radial displacement, axial displacement, eccentricity, and valve position.

The measurement accuracy typically reaches ±0.33% of full scale, with a maximum error not exceeding 1%, enabling reliable detection of subtle position deviations and early signs of mechanical abnormalities.

Intelligent Alarming and Equipment Protection

The module allows users to configure independent alarm thresholds for each channel. When the measured displacement or position exceeds the preset limits, the system automatically activates the corresponding alarm relays.
In critical protection scenarios, the module can also be linked to initiate shutdown or trip signals, effectively preventing minor issues—such as bearing wear or shaft misalignment—from escalating into major equipment failures.

The front panel is equipped with intuitive status indicators (Normal, TX/RX, Bypass), enabling operators to quickly assess system health and module operating states during routine inspections.

System Compatibility and Flexible Adaptation

Designed for full compatibility with the Bentley Nevada 3500 series machinery protection system, the module integrates seamlessly with other components in the rack. It supports sensor sensitivities of 3.94 mV/µm and 7.87 mV/µm, and provides a programmable frequency response range.

Through configurable vector filters, the module can be tuned to the specific dynamic characteristics of various rotating machines, ensuring accurate monitoring across diverse industrial applications.
