Core role: The fiber I/O bus relay/extender of the Tricon system, enabling high-speed and fault-tolerant communication between the host and remote chassis.
Main uses:
Expand the I/O distance to 12 km (single-mode fiber) or 2 km (multi-mode).
Triple Redundancy (TMR) fiber optic link, single channel failure does not affect communication.
As a primary station, it can connect up to 3 remote slave station chassis.
Strong resistance to electromagnetic interference, suitable for harsh industrial environments.
