4-Channel Relay Module

The 4-Channel Relay Module is a full-height module that provides four independent relay outputs for use within a 3500 rack. Any number of 4-Channel Relay Modules may be installed in any slot located to the right of the Rack Interface Module, allowing flexible system expansion.

Each relay output can be independently programmed to perform the required voting and alarm logic. Every relay channel incorporates Alarm Drive Logic, which supports AND/OR logical combinations and can reference alarm inputs (Alert and Danger states) from any individual monitor channel or from multiple monitor channels across the rack. Alarm Drive Logic is configured using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software to meet specific application requirements.

Note: Triple Modular Redundant (TMR) applications require the use of the 3500/34 TMR Relay Module. Refer to Bently Nevada Specification and Ordering Information, part number 141534-01, for additional details.

OK LED: Illuminates when the module is operating correctly

TX/RX LED: Flashes to indicate proper communication between this module and other modules in the rack

CH ALARM LED: Illuminates when the associated relay channel is in an alarm state

Type: Two single-pole, double-throw (SPDT) relays connected in a double-pole, double-throw (DPDT) configuration per channel

Operation Mode: Each channel is switch-selectable for Normally De-energized or Normally Energized operation
