3500/93 System Display

Overview

The Bently Nevada™ 3500/93 System Display is designed to comply with API 670 standards and provides both local and remote visual indication of all information available within the 3500 Machinery Protection System rack.

It enables comprehensive monitoring and access to system data, including:

System Event List

Alarm Event Lists

Channel, Monitor, Relay Module, Keyphasor™ Module, and Tachometer Module data

The 3500/93 Display is configured using the 3500 Rack Configuration Software, ensuring full compatibility and straightforward setup.

Mounting Options

The System Display offers four flexible installation configurations to accommodate various cabinet and system layouts:

1. Face Mounting

   Installs directly over the front panel of a full-size 3500 rack using a hinged support bracket.
   Allows access to buffered output connectors, user-interface buttons, and switches without disconnecting or disabling the display.
   Note: For this option, the Display Interface Module (DIM) must be installed in slot 15 (the right-most slot) of the rack.Not compatible with the 3500 Mini-Rack.

2. 19-inch EIA Rack Mounting

   Mounts directly to 19-inch EIA rails and can be located up to 100 feet (30 m) from the 3500 System.Distance can be extended up to 4000 feet (1220 m) when using the External Power Supply.

3. Panel Mounting

   Designed for installation in a panel cutout, either within the same cabinet or up to 100 feet (30 m) away from the 3500 rack.
   With the External Power Supply, installation distance can reach 4000 feet (1220 m).

4. Independent Mounting

   Enables the display to be wall- or panel-mounted independently, up to 100 feet (30 m) from the rack.
   With the External Power Supply, distance can also be extended to 4000 feet (1220 m).

System Configuration

Up to two displays can be connected to each 3500 rack.

Each display requires one empty rack slot for its corresponding Display Interface Module (DIM).

When not face-mounted, the connection between the DIM and Display can be made from either the front of the rack or via the I/O module at the rear.

Power and Accessories

Applications using cables longer than 100 feet (30 m) must employ an External Power Supply and Cable Adapter.

Backlighted Display Units also require an External Power Supply.

Two power supply versions are available:

115 Vac model

230 Vac model

An optional External Power/Terminal Strip Mounting Kit simplifies the installation of External Power Supplies.
This kit is designed to fit within the Independent Mount Housing, but can also be used with a user-supplied housing for versatile installation.
