The 1900/65A General Purpose Equipment Monitor provides continuous monitoring and protection for a wide range of machinery across diverse applications and industries. Its cost-effective design makes it an ideal solution for general-purpose machines and processes requiring reliable condition monitoring.

Inputs

• 4 transducer inputs:

  • Software-configurable for:

    • 2- and 3-wire accelerometers

    • Velocity sensors

    • Proximity probes

• 4 temperature inputs:

  • Supports thermocouples (E, J, K, T types)

  • Supports 2- or 3-wire RTDs

Outputs

• 6 relay outputs:

  • Configurable (via 1900 Configuration software) to open/close based on OK, Alert, or Danger status of any channel or combination of channels

• 4 × 4–20 mA recorder outputs:

  • Any variable from any channel can be mapped to any recorder output

• 1 dedicated buffered output:

  • Provides raw transducer input signal access

Communication

• Modbus® Gateway option enables direct access to:

  • Static variables, statuses, event list, time/date information

  • Integration with DCS, SCADA, PLCs, or System 1® software

• Internal counter + Modbus client/master reference ensures accurate time/date stamping

• Upgrade path: 1900/01 Communications Upgrade adds Modbus Gateway functionality if not originally included

• Interfaces:

  • Ethernet (Modbus TCP)

  • Software-configurable RS-232/485 serial port

Configuration

• Configuration files created on PC/laptop using 1900 Configuration software

• Download via built-in Ethernet connection

• Configuration permanently stored in non-volatile memory

• Upload capability for modification

Display Module (Optional)

• Optional display/keypad module for local channel viewing and minor configuration adjustments

• Can be mounted up to 75 m (250 ft) away from the Monitor Module

• Allows stand-alone operation without PC connection
